Looks like the Finnish start-up is about to start its proceedings in a different direction-this time its east! Jolla’s new CEO Marc Dillon has recently tweeted on his twitter account that Jolla has set up a new office in Asia. However, any further details are yet unknown as what is the exact location or how big the office will be. In fact, people are looking for vacancies; maybe it’s the recession effect or love of the fans.
This new step is considered to be very wise and precise as well. Jolla is about to launch their OS, Sailfish on November 21st at Slush, Helsinki, Finland. Next month, they will be launching their first Smartphone as well. With Jolla already making it clear that they have plans to setup their business in the Asian market, especially China making a deal worth 200million Euro in Hong Kong, it is obvious to have a nearby checkpoint. Also, their hardware manufacturers are also based in Asia making it just the necessary step to be followed.
This confirms that whatever we heard yet was pretty right as well as also tells the one-directional story of Jolla who are heading in a single correct way from the start. Let’s see, how far can they continue to follow the path.
