It has already been announced that Jolla will be participating in the Slush event at Helsinki, Finland and it will serve as the launch pad for their Sailfish OS and Jolla UI. However, their first Smartphone is still undercover and will be launched next month. Other than that, the fresh news is that the schedule for the Slush event has been released and we have got some updates for the Jolla fans as well.
The Slush event will be held on 21st and 22nd November with the Jolla’s show part taking place at 11:15 (9:15am GMT) on the Main Stage. In addition to the main event, there are two additional events lined up for the conference: UI focused session on the Event Stage at 17:00-18:00 (3-4pm GMT) on Wednesday and SDK session for developers at 10:00-11:00 (8-9am GMT) on Thursday. For all those viewers who can’t make it to the event, Slush has organized video streaming directly from all the stages. These video streams will be made available for offline viewing as well.
Jolla is gaining popularity among the public and it’s already justified with a lot of unofficial Jolla accounts on twitter. There is only one official account but users have built their own updating the latest media reports every day. There are many users who have been following them and spreading the word. Jolla will be one of the biggest highlights of the event and it will be a huge day for the future mobile ecosystem as well as UI, both of which have been under constant growth and changes as well.
