Personally speaking, I don’t think that Jolla is a start-up anymore. It has garnered enough fan base, possesses some of the best programmers across the world, bears a world renowned “ex-Nokia” history and money has never been a problem for them. What else? There’s a new proposal for them from their old investor “China Fortune Holdings Limited”.
It’s been announced that Fortune Express of China Fortune is going to acquire a 6.25% interest in Jolla with a total worth of 1 million euro and if you remember, the company has already invested 2,00,000 euro in Jolla in the previous year. China Fortune is an investment company that operates in design, retail, logistics and telecommunication.
China Fortune knows that Jolla’s a start-up but it possesses a potential no less than an established organization like Nokia. All the legal transactions are expected to be completed by the month of March. Let’s see how the proceedings go further.
