It’s been nearly a month when Jolla had released the SDK for their Sailfish OS. Jolla has been so much in news for Sailfish that it’s no longer any unknown to the world. But to make the better of it, one of the Jolla developers has come out with a video on YouTube telling the viewers on how easy it is to develop an app for Sailfish.
In the video, he has tried to explain the whole concept of app development using one of the common but slightly modified apps called NoTo. The app is a combination of a Note taking app and a To-do list, hence the name. There is an inbuilt virtual emulator for the developers to check out the app as if it was running on a Smartphone. This tool is very helpful as you can make different changes and check out them being executed directly. The user interface has been greatly simplified and even the most complex of the coding equations look like the simplest of the word puzzles. No! It’s not completely like that but just to give you an idea on how easy it is working on Sailfish.
Jolla has already announced that their platform will be open source and anyone can contribute to it. So in that perspective, this guy has just contributed his part in spreading the anthem to as far as he could. So, to all the developers out there, he has shown you the way to do it. Now it’s your turn to follow the leader.
