Good news to all developers around the world!
We have been informed by Jukka Eklund about the opening of Jolla Harbour which is basically a place to submit your applications.

If you are a developer and you wrote/willing to write an application for Sailfish OS you can visit Jolla Harbour and while feasting your eyes with the magnificent colors and the amazing interface, you can submit your application with the requirements below according to a message from Karl Granström on SailfishOS.Org
– An app icon for the Store (86x86px, png) (Current SDK supports 90x90px images; more details to follow soon)
– 1-3 screenshots (540x960px, png or jpg)
– An optional Cover image for your Store page (516x252px, png or jpg)
And as for submission processes if you’re wondering:
To submit your application to Jolla Harbour, fill in the metadata for it and upload the binary and required images. After you have submitted your app, Jolla will start Quality Assurance testing.
Quality Assurance testing:
Jolla will perform QA testing on your applications on real Jolla devices. We will get back to you with feedback on your app within a few days. You will be notified on the QA results via the email address you have registered to your Jolla account.
All aside, there are so many demands that the server is overloaded and accessing the website is almost impossible at the moment (Expected, I’d say 😉 )
You can also count on our old friend Caprico if you want to have an icon designed in a *Sailfish OS Style* way for your written application.

There’s also a chance for Android application developers to submit their native Android applications to Jolla store as well. This is quite a good opportunity for Android developers to submit their apps and make Jolla store bigger and better from the beggining however, everyone prefers a native application, obviously.
Speaking of which, there’s another good news about native Sailfish OS applications:
CuteTube, an absolutely stunning creation of Stuart Howarth is being ported to Sailfish by storm!
Hopefullly we’ll be able to get some demos soon.
Oh and before I forget, I have recently tweeted about something exclusive coming up on JollaUsers.com , well this wasn’t it 😀 You guys need to wait a wee bit more because it’s an on going process and I’m working on it to make it happen as soon as possible.
UPDATE: The website will be up and running as soon as possible.
Hope you enjoyed the post.
