Since the day I got my phone in hand, one of my biggest concerns was that I didn’t have any option for WiFi tethering but I have been informed that the hardware is there, available to be used. When would the official app appear in the settings menu? No one gave me any information but worry not since the community is not just laying back enjoying Sailfish UI! They are digging into it every single day and there are new applications/hacks coming out every now and then.
Now also, it seems like they were rather quick and the application is ready to be used but it is yet to be fully complete and available at Jolla store.
Speaking of Jolla store, is anyone else being annoyed of these Android applications being submitted to the store? At least they could have a label names “Android” or “apk” or something. I’m nagging here because we have gazillions of 3rd party Android stores out there such as 1Mobile, Yandex.store, Aptoide, and some even managed to install Google play on their phones so what’s the point of having Android apps in the store? Quantity over quality? I don’t accept that, sorry. I’d rather have just a few native apps in the store than having hundreds of Android apps in “Jolla” store for the sake of numbers.
Anyway, I got carried away but I had to say it at some point! But I made it grey because it’d off topic.
Back to tethering, we have been informed yesterday by Nicolas Suffys the founder of Jolla France (JollaFr.org) that an application is being developed for Bluetooth and WiFi tethering. So we became excited, naturally!

Now there is one slight issue:
@nsuffys It gave me Error code 2 while trying to install

With that said, I decided not to publish anything until I came across this post from The Jolla Blog in which there was a download link of an earlier version than the latest one! And amazingly, it got installed and it worked!
So just download it >> Here << and enjoy the ride!
