Just a quick heads up for those who are willing to use/have 4G LTE enabled on their phones, there’s an app on openrepos.net developed by Janne Edelman that allows you to switch between 3/4G in a very seamless way (Just a tap!)
You must be cautious at what you’re doing. Thankfully there was no problem for me there, yet according to the application page at Openrepos;
With current software 4G/LTE power consumption is significant and circuit switched fallback (CSFB) does not work. This means that LTE can be used with power supply connected and you will not receive phone calls or SMS while LTE on.
And I can agree with the Call/SMS part because I couldn’t send/receive anything but about the power consumption I can’t relate because it was quite the same for me (Though I used it for a short time just for testing.
What about speed measurements?
Quite easily, I have downloaded the OOKLA Speedtest.net Android application on my phone and despite being indoors with an unreleased software on a beta OS, I have got quite a nice result and you can easily see the speed was steady while downloading and uploading.
But I was indoors and despite having full bar, I know the result could be better like:
3G/4G Radio Switcher can be downloaded with Warehouse too. pic.twitter.com/p1I4TBYmoi

There is the first version available to download at openrepos (Click on the image below to download)
But you need to bear something in mind as well; use it at your own risk please!
@JollaUsers Be careful out there… there might be a reason why it's not enabled yet by Jolla
