Tekniikka ja Talous has interviewed Tomi Pienimäki the CEO of Jolla and Tomi have shared some interesting stuff with them.
Finnish is a hard language. Even for Google.
It took me a while to understand the translated version of the latest Jolla-related article/interview on ‘Tekniikka ja Talous‘ shared via ‘JollaSuomi‘ which also is predictably in Finnish, but anyhow I found out that there are good news to celebrate.
Jolla has high hopes for this year’s mwc
Pienimäki does not want to reveal the pre-MWC fair novelties, but there will be new features in addition to further information about the “other half”, i.e Jolla phone’s technology operating in the back cover that allows you to expand the phone’s features.
With Nokia going more and more mainstream this year, Jolla is really making some interesting moves in the background! Of course there hasn’t been anything revealed yet but the Buzz that is going inside Jolla is predictable because they are so quiet about it!
Now that we know that there will be more ‘otherhalves’ waiting to be announced at MWC, what do you guys think we should expect? What sort of TOH’s are we going to see?
Jolla 2 is being designed and will be launched in 2015
Said Pienimäki to Tekniikka ja Talous that Jolla 2 is on the roadmap and is being designed but the main focus of the company is on the currently launched phone and improving it.
Though improving the software of this current Jolla can definitely result a better ‘next Jolla’. And I can’t wait to buy it already!
According to the interview, Jolla is still saying no to NSA, America’s spying system and will continue doing that as much as possible.
And we end with little humour about NSA:
#1: The NSA is the only branch of the government that actually listens to people.
