Next stop, Africa.
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Jolla moving places. Last time we also reported on the same deal with less details but we had it coming. Jolla was on its way to Africa, starting with Namibia, from long ago. Here is the post if you’re wondering what am I talking about.
It was September 2014 when Jolla replied to one of our tweets saying that they are indeed going to Namibia;

And despite being super busy after the tablet launch and all that good stuff, they have finalized the contract with Telecom Namibia and are entering the market with speed.
If you also remember, it was on update 188.8.131.52, Saapunki when Jolla announced their new certificate gotten from ICASA aka The Independent Communications Authority of South Africa!
Our first comment received on that post was Feeyaz saying “Does the ICASA certificatiin mean we can soon expect Jolla in South Africa?”
