Jolla C Video Review

As you all know, the Jolla C smartphone is a brand new limited edition device from Jolla which features a 720P HD screen, a Snapdragon quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM helping those multitasking unicorns to work their magic!

As I haven’t had time to review this device lately (Yes I have it!) I am going to get help from the lovely internet and post a video by Leszek Lesner that I have found on Twitter, courtesy of Dr. Roy Schestowitz.

The video is about 10 minutes, in English, and features almost anything you would want to know about the Jolla C device.

Feel free to leave a comment below if you have a question about the device!

I need a new sailfish device but i do like to take photos and the camera on the Jolla C seems to be worse then the one in the JP-1301.
The turing phone is more expensive but it has a better camera but i haven’t seen enough users get a device and it seems to be impossible to order one.

Well it’s not that easy to get a hold of a new sailfish device.

What is with Jolla! It seems to me it’s dead. No news, no announcements. Promising start at least in marketing, but what did they deliver to the market? Anyway, the Chinese makers will dominate the market in the coming years.

Dear Mr. Noori and other enthusiasts,
I would like to buy a smartphone which can run Sailfish (OS 2.20.29) and the upcoming Sailfish 3. I want to get rid of Apple and Google, as much as possible. Therefore, I have 3 questions, could you help me out?
    1) I know, for now, it is not possible to buy the Jolla C, for me as a Belgian citizen (only select developers/community members). is that correct? The Jolla webshop does not load, therefore I cannot check whether I’m correct or not.
    2) Do I understand it well that the device Sony Xperia X is the most popular device, which can run Sailfish in the EU? If yes, do you expect the Xperia X can bear the upcoming Sailfish 3 without slowing down? I read reviews about the X, being described as no good price-quality balance and getting overheated quickly.
    3) Which smartphone do you advise me to buy so that I can learn to install Sailfish?

    Thanks for your time! Sophie
